Beta: rough edges you should know about

Items are logged by people, not machines. Arrivals usually show up within 4 business hours, not instantly.
Rate limit is 60 requests per minute per key. Use webhooks instead of polling.
Webhooks retry 5 times with exponential backoff, then give up. There is no replay endpoint yet.
Only one API key per account for now. Key rotation goes through sales.
Customs forms for shipments outside the EU are filled in by our team, so non-EU shipments can take an extra business day.
The API may change during the beta. We announce breaking changes 30 days in advance.

Who it's for

AI agents that need to order and receive physical goods, companies that register entities in Germany and need someone to process official letters, marketplaces that consolidate seller shipments, and anyone who would rather call an endpoint than go to a post office.

How it works

Each API account gets one or more mailbox IDs, each tied to a German postal address. When something arrives, our team logs it, photographs or scans it, and the API fires a webhook. Your system then decides what happens next: open and scan, forward, hold, or shred.

Pricing

API usage follows the same pricing as the regular service (parcel handling from €15 per parcel plus shipping) with volume discounts for high usage. Contact sales on WhatsApp for a quote based on your expected volume.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a public sandbox?

Not yet. Sales gives you a test mailbox where we send fake arrivals, so you can build against real webhooks before going live.

Can an AI agent use this without a human?

Yes. Every action, from listing arrivals to buying a shipping label, can be done over the API. Some actions, like opening sensitive government letters, can require a one-time human confirmation if you want that.

Is this GDPR compliant?

Scans are stored in the EU and you can delete them via the API at any time. We sign a data processing agreement with API customers.
